1. Introduction

Welcome to Teqland, an online technology retail store operating at shop.teqland.co.ke. By accessing our website and placing an order, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out on this page. Please read them carefully before making a purchase.

Teqland is a Kenya-based business operating in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Kenya.

2. Our Products

We sell new and refurbished technology products including laptops, desktop computers, CCTV surveillance systems, access control equipment, printers, tablets, networking equipment, and computer accessories. All products are sourced from reputable suppliers and brands.

Refurbished products are clearly labelled as such. These are pre-owned devices that have been inspected and tested for functionality. They may show minor cosmetic wear but are confirmed to be in good working condition at the time of sale.

Product availability is subject to stock. We reserve the right to remove or update product listings at any time.

3. Pricing

All prices on our website are displayed in Kenyan Shillings (KSh) and are exclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated. The final price payable will be shown at checkout and will include any applicable taxes or delivery charges.

We reserve the right to change prices at any time without prior notice. However, the price confirmed at the time of your order will be honoured.

4. Placing an Order

You may place an order through our website at shop.teqland.co.ke or via WhatsApp at +254 721 981 052. By placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

Once your order is received, you will get a confirmation via WhatsApp or email. This confirmation does not constitute acceptance of the order — acceptance occurs when the item is dispatched or payment is confirmed.

We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order at our discretion, including in cases of pricing errors, suspected fraud, or stock unavailability. In such cases, a full refund will be issued if payment has already been made.

5. Payment

We accept the following payment methods:

  • M-Pesa (our primary payment method)
  • Bank transfer
  • Pay on Delivery (available in Nairobi and immediate environs only)

Full payment must be received before an order is dispatched, except where Pay on Delivery has been agreed. We do not store card details or sensitive financial information on our systems.

6. Delivery

We deliver across Kenya. Our delivery timelines are as follows:

  • Nairobi and immediate environs: Same-day or next-day delivery
  • Other towns countrywide: 1–3 working days

Free delivery applies to orders of KSh 50,000 and above. Delivery charges for orders below this amount will be communicated at the time of order.

Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by factors outside our control including public holidays, adverse weather, or courier delays. Teqland is not liable for delays caused by third-party couriers.

Risk of loss and title for items pass to you upon delivery.

7. Returns and Refunds

We offer a 7-day return policy from the date of delivery. To be eligible for a return, the item must be:

  • Returned within 7 days of delivery
  • In its original condition and packaging
  • Accompanied by proof of purchase

Items that have been physically damaged by the customer, tampered with, or used in a manner inconsistent with their intended purpose are not eligible for return.

Refunds will be processed within 3–7 working days of receiving and inspecting the returned item. Refunds will be issued via the original payment method where possible.

8. Warranty

New products are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty where applicable. Refurbished products carry a limited warranty as specified on the individual product listing. Warranty claims must be directed to Teqland and not the manufacturer directly.

Warranty does not cover physical damage, water damage, misuse, or modifications made by the customer.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Kenyan law, Teqland shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use our products or website. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the product in question.

We do not guarantee that our website will be available at all times or free from errors, viruses, or interruptions.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on shop.teqland.co.ke, including product descriptions, images, logos, and text, is the property of Teqland or its content suppliers. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from this website without our prior written permission.

11. Privacy

We collect personal information such as your name, phone number, email address, and delivery address solely for the purpose of processing and fulfilling your order. We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties except where required to complete delivery of your order.

By using our website, you consent to the collection and use of your data as described above.

12. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya. Any disputes arising from transactions on this website shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Kenyan courts.

We reserve the right to update these terms and conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of our website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
